Rental Agreement

1. The parties

This Rental Agreement is between Pink Digital Ave ("Company," "we," "us") and the customer who completes a booking ("Customer," "you"). By submitting a booking request, paying for a rental, or confirming a reservation by email, you agree to these terms. Please read this agreement carefully before reserving your date.

2. Equipment

Depending on the package you select, your rental may include one or more of the following:

• A retro camcorder in manufactured pink, a modern black HD camcorder, or both
• Memory card(s) and charged batteries with charger
• How-to instructions, plus a video and photo shot list
• Optional add-ons such as mics, lights, extra batteries, or a Camera Bowl of vintage Y2K digital cameras
• Editable signs and one keep camera when a Camera Bowl is included
• Prepaid return shipping label for rental items

All rental equipment is inspected, cleaned, and charged before shipment. Retro camcorders are late-2010s Full HD models and vintage Y2K digital cameras are from the 2000s. They may show wear and tear, and retro onboard microphones are not studio quality and may hum or pick up ambient noise. That character is expected and part of the rental. You are responsible for the equipment from delivery at your shipping address until we receive the returned rental items.

3. Rental period

Your rental period begins when the equipment is delivered to your shipping address and ends when you drop it off for return using the prepaid label we provide.

Equipment must be returned within 72 hours of your event date, on the first business day available, using the prepaid return label included in your box unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Failure to return equipment within this window may result in a late fee of $25 per day until the equipment is received.

4. Shipping

We ship so your kit arrives about 3 days before your event when timelines allow. Round-trip shipping for rental items is included in your package price.

Outbound shipping uses our standard carrier. A tracking number will be emailed once your order ships.

For returns, use only the prepaid return label included in your box and drop the package at an approved carrier location.

Pink Digital Ave is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. If a shipping delay impacts your event, we will work with you in good faith on a resolution, including expedited replacement shipping when available.

5. Payment

Full payment is due at the time of booking to secure your date once paid checkout is live. Until then, a booking request is a request for availability and is not confirmed until we reply by email.

All prices are in USD. Custom packages are quoted separately. Your date is not confirmed until payment is received in full (or until we confirm by email during the pre-payment period).

6. Cancellation and refund policy

Once you book and pay, the amount you pay locks in your date as a retainer. That payment covers holding your date, preparing and testing equipment, setting aside editing time, and handling setup for your order.

Because that work begins when you book, the retainer is considered earned in full when payment is received. We do not issue refunds for cancellations, postponements, changes of plans, or circumstances within your control.

7. Damage and loss

This rental does not include separate damage protection. You are financially responsible for the equipment for the full duration of your rental, including loss or theft, liquid damage, intentional damage or gross negligence, and failure to return equipment.

In the event of significant damage or loss, you agree to pay repair or replacement costs up to the following amounts:

• Retro camcorder: up to $500
• Modern black HD camcorder: up to $1,500
• Vintage digital camera: up to $300
• Memory card: up to $50
• Accessories (mic, light, battery, charger, bowl, signs): up to $150 total for the accessory set

We will notify you within 5 business days of receiving your return if there is a damage claim. Amounts owed may be charged to the payment method on file or invoiced separately.

8. Customer responsibilities

You agree to:

• Handle all equipment with reasonable care
• Keep equipment protected from rain, extreme heat, sand, and liquids
• Not allow children to use the equipment unsupervised
• Not attempt to repair, modify, open, or refinish any equipment
• Return all rental items included in the original shipment
• Return rental equipment in the original packaging when possible
• Be at least 18 years old to book and receive the rental

9. Footage, photos, editing, and delivery

• For camcorder packages, your edited highlight and raw footage will be delivered after we receive your returned equipment. Timing is typically within a few weeks and will be confirmed by email.
• For Camera Bowl rentals, photos from returned cameras are delivered digitally. The keep camera and its memory remain with the bridal party as stated in your package.
• Download links stay active for a limited window. You are responsible for downloading your files before that window ends.
• We may use anonymous excerpts of footage or photos for marketing and portfolio purposes unless you opt out in writing before your event.
• We are not responsible for footage or photos lost due to equipment malfunction after a skipped pre-event check, improper use, or failure to follow included instructions.

10. Limitation of liability

Pink Digital Ave's total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for your rental. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed memories, emotional distress, or costs of alternative photography or videography services.

11. Governing law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Entire agreement

This Rental Agreement, together with your booking confirmation, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Pink Digital Ave regarding your rental. It supersedes all prior conversations, emails, or representations.
